At Lonsdale Skin and Laser we typically treat acne with a Salycilic Acid peel and the Fotona Laser. Significant improvement is usually noticable witinin 2-4 weeks.

Acne Scars Treatment with Fractional Laser Resurfacing

Acne scarring is permanent but can be treated. No treatment is 100% effective and the best result is improvement, not perfection. People of Middle Easten descent often have postinflammatory hyperpigmentation. Asian patients have lower risk of hyperpigmentation, while caucasians have the lowest risk. It is always important to treat acne early, before scar formation and discoloration occurs.
